Instructions for making Chicken Alfredo

Instructions

  1. Weigh out 56 grams of fettuccine noodles.
  2. Boil a large pot of water.
  3. Salt the water real quick.
  4. Take your noodles, just give them a little break in half.
  5. Toss them in and let them boil for about 10 minutes.
  6. Make thin cut chicken breast into strips and weigh out 112 grams.
  7. Toss the chicken down in your air fryer basket.
  8. Cook the chicken at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  9. Give everything even space in the air fryer.
  10. Once chicken and noodles are done, sit them off to the side and keep them close by.
  11. In an eight-inch saucepan, hit it with a little bit of nonstick.
  12. Put your butter down in the saucepan, set to a low heat.
  13. Wait for your butter to melt.
  14. Rotate the butter around the pan.
  15. Once the butter’s melted, pour in the buttermilk.
  16. Pour in the flour.
  17. Stir everything together so that flour is combined with the butter and fully breaks down.
  18. Rise the heat up to about a medium.
  19. Keep stirring everything together until it slowly starts to thicken.
  20. Add your cheese.
  21. Add your parsley.
  22. Stir everything together to incorporate that cheese into everything else to create the perfect little sauce.
  23. Let all these ingredients do their thing.
  24. Grab your chicken and noodles.
  25. Place them right down in the sauce.
  26. Stir everything together.
  27. Let all of our noodles get coated.
  28. Let all of our chicken get coated.
  29. Make sure all of that cheesy Alfredo flavor is covering every single bite.
  30. Let it sit in there for about a minute or two on a low heat, just to make sure those noodles and that chicken heat up appropriately.

Cooking Tips

Any noodle you want to use, you can do that. If you want to use some of the higher protein ones or chickpea pasta, go right ahead. If you really want to speed this recipe up, you can just use pre-cooked chicken. If you time this up right, literally your pasta and your chicken will be done at the exact same time. Cook the chicken however you want. For me, this is just the most convenient option. If you are making a big batch for multiple people for a family dinner, just take everything I showed you and multiply it out accordingly. Just make sure your pans are big enough to support it and you’re going to be fine.

Serving Suggestions

I did put a little bit of powdered Parmesan on top. Don’t forget, you’re allowed to scrape up any of that extra sauce.

At the end of the day, it’s all about energy balance, law of thermodynamics. Are you eating less calories than your body needs in a day? If you’re doing that, you’re going to see results. Folks, as much as it pains me to say it, I really think this might be the best recipe I’ve ever created. Seriously, you’ve got to try this one.
