Garlic Butter and Lemon Baked Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
- Four pieces chicken breast
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Oregano
- Dried parsley flakes
- Dried thyme leaves
- Rosemary
- Chili powder
- Garlic powder
- Adobo seasoning
- Nonstick cooking spray
- Half of an onion
- A few sprigs fresh thyme
- Fresh rosemary leaves
- About four lemon slices
- Four to five tablespoons butter
- A few cloves minced garlic
- Freshly chopped cilantro

Instructions
- You want to take your chicken breast and slice it in half Going down the middle lengthwise.
- Use paper towel to pat dry the chicken really well to remove any extra water on it.
- Drizzle your chicken with some olive oil.
- Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, chili powder, garlic powder and adobo seasoning.
- You want to season all sides of each pieces of your chicken.
- Cover it and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray the baking dish with some nonstick cooking spray to prevent the chicken from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
- Slice up some onions, about half of an onion.
- Place that into the bottom of your baking dish.
- Add in a few sprigs of fresh thyme and fresh rosemary leaves.
- Take the seasoned pieces of chicken and place it into the baking dish on top of the fresh herbs and the onion.
- Take a few lemon slices and place it on top of the chicken.
- Place the chicken into the oven at 375 degrees.
- Bake it for about 20 minutes.
- While the chicken is baking, prepare the garlic butter sauce: Get a saucepan or a frying pan and over medium low heat, add in about four to five tablespoons of butter.
- Add in a few cloves of minced garlic into the pot with the butter.
- Also add some freshly chopped cilantro.
- Give that a good stir and let it cook for about three minutes over low heat medium low heat.
- Once the garlic softens for about three minutes or so, turn off the stove.
- After about 20 to 25 minutes, take the chicken out.
- Take the garlic butter sauce we just made and pour it all over my chicken on top of it.
- Make sure you pour everything in there the garlic the parsley the butter everything into the chicken.
- If you want you could give it a mix in the sauce.
- Put it back into the oven to finish baking for about 15 more minutes.

Cooking Tips
If you don’t have Italian seasoning on hands, you can use oregano dried parsley flakes dried thyme leaves rosemary any of those kinds of seasoning will work perfectly to replace the Italian seasoning.
Try to use fresh thyme and rosemary in this dish cuz it’s gonna smell so good while it’s cooking and it’s gonna taste so good when it’s done.
You don’t want it on high heat because then the garlic is gonna burn on you.
You want it on medium to medium low heat to allow the garlic to take its time and like release this flavor into the butter.
The chicken needs to be at 165 degrees to be fully cooked.

Take the chicken, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice it up and serve.
