Hi, I’m Chef Tom. We are cooking. We’re gonna dice some onion, bell pepper, and then I got this two beautiful pep of the ground turkey.

We’re gonna cook it and we can use the tortilla wrap or you can just eat it like that with serve with the rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • A lot of garlic
  • Vegetable cooking oil
  • 2 beautiful pep of the ground turkey
  • Pepper
  • Himalayan salt
  • Oyster sauce
  • Light sodium soy sauce or any kind of soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Hot chili or alpino
  • Fajita powder
  • Salt
  • Tortilla

Instructions

Cooking ground turkey on stove

  1. Preheat the frying pan.
  2. Add some vegetable cooking oil.
  3. Add the onion in.
  4. Add some garlic. Just gonna give them a roughly chopped. Maybe one more time.
  5. Cook the garlic, caramelize a little bit. Get them very good flavor.
  6. Add bell pepper. Top at the bottom.
  7. Cut bell pepper from the inside.
  8. Stir for about a good 10, 15 minutes.
  9. Add some pepper.
  10. Add some Himalayan salt.
  11. Stir this for a while.
  12. Set this into a bowl.
  13. Simply use a paper towel to wipe out all the juice and the oil from the frying pan.
  14. Make sure stay in the high heat.
  15. Wipe the frying pan still hot and smoky.
  16. Add just a little bit oil.
  17. Make sure it’s really hot now. Swirl a little bit. Make sure it’s very hot.
  18. Add this natural ground turkey meat in. Add one more.
  19. Gently break it apart.
  20. Rotate the frying pan every few minutes.
  21. Let them cook for one to two minutes.
  22. Let them cook for another minute or two.
  23. Break it apart. Little lumps. Make sure the turkey meat. Cook through.
  24. If you want to drain something out. Put a paper towel here. Tip your frying pan. And the paper towel. Absorb. All the water. Or juice.
  25. Add back the vegetables. Still hot. And warm.
  26. Stir evenly.
  27. Season with a lot of black pepper.
  28. Add some oyster sauce. Go around like this. Don’t measure it.
  29. Add light sodium soy sauce. Or any kind of soy sauce you have. Just go around.
  30. Add sesame oil.
  31. If you wanna add some. Fajita powder. Or. Any kind you have. Just more flavor. More spicy. Just a little bit.
  32. Stir for a few minutes.
  33. If you have a couple piece. Turkey. To be. Break it apart.
  34. Give. A fry. Something like this.
  35. Add some salt.

Cooking Tips

But first we have to cook the vegetable and the turkey separately. Because the turkey is cold, you know. So we don’t want to ruin the process of the cooking.

If you want to cut the bell pepper, this side, actually, the layer of the skin are pretty tough. So I like to cut from the inside.

Salted vegetable cannot be rushed. We want to have great flavor. So it’s gonna take about a good 10, 15 minutes. Stir.

Make sure stay in the high heat.

Make sure it’s really hot now. Swirl a little bit. Make sure it’s very hot.

We want to make sure the frying pan is nice and hot. So it will like brown the turkey. More flavor, you know.

If your frying pan is hot on this side. Rotate it. Every few minutes. So you got even heat.

The idea is I want the heat to. Sweat. Caramelize the turkey. And I don’t want a lot of juice. Show up in my frying pan.

Just listen to the sound. Not undercooked. And don’t let the turkey burn too.

No rush. Take your time.

Just make sure. Not too big of the lump. Make sure the turkey meat. Cook through. Right?

Sometimes. The turkey. In the cooler. Too long. They have water. You know. It’s normal. So if you want to drain something out. You put it like a paper towel here. Okay. Paper towel here. You see that? And then. You tip. You tip. Your frying pan. And the paper towel. Absorb. All the water. Or juice.

Oyster sauce. Huh? It’s just for flavor. Go around like this. Go around. Don’t measure it. Don’t measure it. Just go around like this.

I gotta be careful with this. Because it’s. Big bottle.

You can put. Hot chili. Or alpino. Or. Just get the more. Spicy. Spicy little bit. But add. Hot. Sesame oil.

Serving Suggestions

We can use the tortilla wrap or you can just eat it like that with serve with the rice.

This recipe you can cook with fajita, anything, you know. Almost like a fajita. Taco.

You can have this for two or three meals, you know.
