Instructions

Cooking Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon in pan

  1. First thing we’re going to do is season these babies up.
  2. Take seasoning concoction, mix it up.
  3. Hit both sides generously of your fillets, like so.
  4. Hit the perimeters, the outside of the salmon as well. Make sure everything is happy.
  5. Put that to the side.
  6. Get your decent sized little bowl.
  7. Add melted butter, lime juice, and honey to this mixture.
  8. Take a whisk and whisk this thing up.
  9. Add a tablespoon of a low sodium soy sauce.
  10. Whisk again.
  11. Get your skillet, put a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of butter. Let the butter melt.
  12. Swirl it around a little bit and do that over a medium high heat.
  13. Once it gets to temperature, start to drop these fillets skin side down.
  14. Do about three to four minutes on the first half.
  15. Flip them and then finish them for about another four minutes, four and a half minutes.
  16. Take these out and set them on a warm plate.
  17. Add another tablespoon of butter to the mix.
  18. Once the butter is melted, add four garlic cloves minced to the mix.
  19. Move it around a little bit, about 20, 30 seconds, just until this starts to get fragrant.
  20. Add our fish back to the mix. Make a little room.
  21. Start to add our glaze around on top. Make sure we get all that goodness into the mix.
  22. Reduce the heat to low.
  23. Grab a spoon so we can spoil some of this deliciousness over the salmon.
  24. Tilt the skillet slightly to get all a nice little amount of that glaze on that baby.

You can do these in batches if you want to, to avoid from crowding the pan.

You do them in batches. That’s the best way. So you don’t crowd the pan and get a beautiful color on it.

Trust me on the butter. It’s going to give it even more richness.

Serving Suggestions

You can slice, slice, get you some, um, green onions and, uh, slice them up.

Also, uh, if you still got some lime, make some wedges.

I just put it on top of some lime wedges and put a little, uh, green onion on top of that thing.
