Two Easy Rotisserie Chicken Pasta Recipes

It’s a pretty good recipe to kind of experiment with flavors.

You really can’t go wrong.

  • Rotisserie chicken
  • Jar of Alfredo sauce
  • Any type of pasta you want
    • Elbow pasta
    • Bow tie pasta
    • Penny pasta
  • Chopped onions
  • Frozen broccoli
  • Minced garlic
  • Can of Rotel tomatoes
  • Ground cumin
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Get some water on to boil.
  2. Saute our chopped onions first.
  3. Pour half a jar of Alfredo sauce in with the onions and garlic and stir up really nice.
  4. Add pasta to the boiling water.
  5. Boil enough pasta for both recipes, about two-thirds of the box.
  6. While the sauce, onions, and garlic are simmering, add store-bought rotisserie chicken to the sauce.
  7. Tear chicken into little shreds.
  8. After you pull your broccoli out of the microwave (this was just in there for like three minutes), dump this into the Alfredo and chicken that we’ve got going here.
  9. Give that a good stir.
  10. If it is too thick, wait just a minute and then add a little bit of pasta water to the sauce to kind of thin it out a little.
  11. Dip your spoon in here and take some of your pasta water and thin it out.
  12. Scoop out the noodles that you need.
  13. Add one scoop of pasta water here and then get everything stirred up.
  14. Top it with cheese.
  15. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  16. Serve up a bowl.
  17. Top it with some black pepper too.
  18. For the spicy version: add a can of Rotel tomatoes with the chicken.
  19. Sprinkle in some ground cumin, about half a teaspoon.
  20. Stir that in and then add chicken as well.
  21. Stir it in as well as your pasta here.
  22. Stir all that together.
  23. Bring it all together with a little bit of cheese.
  24. Add some feta cheese to the mix, just a handful or half a cup.
  25. Let it get warm and then get all melty.

Be careful whenever you open the bag because it is called steamable for a reason.

Whenever you use the pasta water it actually won’t like get too thin it’ll still stay thick but it just like doubles the amount of your liquid not doubles but increases the amount of your liquid without making it too thin or watery.

Make sure you always test it before you dump any water or drain any water off of it in case it’s not quite to your liking.

Serving Suggestions

You can use whatever cheese you like.

You can go a bunch of different ways so be like have fun play with it and experiment.
