I have been trying to grow my hair long for what seems like FOREVER, but no matter how much love and affection I give to my locks, I just can’t seem to make my dreams come true. I don’t know if it’s because I wash my hair too frequently, use to many hot tools, or have it trimmed too often, but whatever the reason, I have finally come to terms with the fact that, unless I take the plunge and get hair extensions, I will likely never have thick, gorgeous, long hair like I did when I was in a teenager ever again. And since I’m still doing damage control after my last highlighting appointment, it’ll be a while before I’m ready to do something drastic again.
So for the last few weeks, I’ve been collecting ideas to dress my hair up a bit, and I am pleasantly surprised at all of the amazing ideas I’ve found online. As it turns out, long hair isn’t a prerequisite for a lot of the trendy hairstyles I see in my favorite TV shows and magazines. In fact, with a few bobby pins and a lot of hairspray, I’ve been able to pull off some pretty impressive looks.
