Some of these ideas are healthy...some not so much...but all of them offer a cool and fun way to get your kids in the Halloween spirit!

My daughter started kindergarten this year, and while she isn’t really a fan of desserts and sugar, she absolutely loves Halloween, and I am beyond excited to show up at her school with a few Halloween treats for her classmates on October 31. I can remember a couple of my friends’ moms doing stuff like that when I was a kid, and while my mother wasn’t really interested in baking or showing up at school until the last bell rang, I always promised myself I’d go the extra mile to make holidays special for my daughter and her friends.

Of course, I’m a terrible cook and an even worse baker, but I’m nothing if I’m not determined, and that’s all that counts, right? So I recently ordered Susan Evans’ book Halloween Cookbook: 80 Ghoulish Recipes For Appetizers, Meals, Drinks, and Dessertsand while I wait for it to arrive in the mail, I’ve been spending a ridiculous amount of time on Pinterest looking for Halloween treats for kids. As it turns out, there are HEAPS of awesome ideas out there – some healthy, some not so healthy – and I’m excited to share 25 of my favorites with you!
